The wooded eastern slopes of the Gradac-Perun ridge encompass moderately steep slopes on which there are several narrow shelves of flatter soil. There are sinkholes along them filled with quality soil. These were separated from the surrounding pastures by dry stone walls. Due to the abandonment of the pastures, indigenous deciduous forest has developed on them, while the areas along Gradac and Perun have been afforested with non-indigenous pine plantations that are gradually expanding. On Gradac Hill, there was a prehistoric hillfort that was connected to the Kadanj spring and the pond located in the area.
