From the vantage point, one can enjoy a view of the elongated mountain valley that extends parallel to the peak ridge of Učka, which borders it on one side, with the hills of Gradac and Perun on the other. The valley is distinguished by spacious meadows that are becoming overgrown with forest that gradually spreads from the surrounding slopes towards its centre. In the past, the meadows were of great importance, as they provided quality grazing during the summer heat, which is why shepherds often moved with their families to the higher parts of the mountain. This resulted in the construction of small temporary settlements that were used only in the summer and whose dry stone remains are still preserved today as one of the main attractions of this area.
