The view encompasses the hamlet of Carići and its agricultural landscape in the foreground, while in the distance one can see the wider Rijeka area and Kvarner islands. The hamlet of Carići is located on dry stone terraces above a rather small fertile valley. The valley represents the central field of the settlement, with what used to be gardens, vineyards and olive groves, while the remaining peripheral part of the settlement is a hilly hinterland with pastures bordered by dry stone walls. The hamlet includes residential and farm buildings, thanks to which it has partially retained its traditional architectural features.
